Description: Shipped to Los Angeles, California on 2 September 1927 with standard markings and features. The included factory letter confirms caliber, barrel length, grip type, and the blue finish. Matching serial numbers on the frame and grip frame and assembly numbers on the loading gate and back of the frame. The cylinder is numbered “42” and the grips are numbered “350750” (hand scratched).
Condition Fine, retains 40% of the original blue and 25% case colors with the balance mostly smooth grey patina with scattered patches of mild pitting. There is an extensive series of multiple peen marks/dents visible on the right of the frame. The grips are very good with a few minor handling marks and crisp checkering overall. Mechanically fine.
