Superb!

This is a beautiful piece and well made. It's flawless. I like the straight trigger as oppose to a curved one. Also the G10 grips look good. Gunprime had the best price and the shipping was quick. Gunprime is the easiest way to purchase a firearm.

Ordering, shipping was great. now enjoying my new firearm.

First let me say ordering was very easy and my purchase shipped the next day, couldn't ask for more from GunPrime.
As for the firearm itself I'm very pleased. I've been wanting a Springfield SA-35 for awhile, they are in short supply and the places that do have them are asking way above retail price. The MCP35 fit and finish appears very nice and fits my hand perfectly, not to mention the balance feels nice. Disassembled, cleaned and lubed which revealed nothing out of the ordinary. No issues what so ever experienced at the range, enjoyable to shoot. Accuracy is good and most likely will get better as I improve, any issues with accuracy are me not the MCP35. While the MCP35 Match has a straight trigger and extended tang over some of their our models it functions well and look great, for me the added plus is no integrated rail - simple prefer its clean lines. In closing you can not go wrong if you choose to purchase this model. I can not offer a comparison to the Springfield SA-35 as I do not own one nor have a fired one, that said I'm extremely happy with my purchase and GunPrime.

What a Hi Power Should Be

To begin, I'm not new to the Hi Power pistols, I own a number of varieties of FN/Browning and Inglis pistols.

The pistol has a slightly different feel due to the undercut trigger guard other than that it's a HI Power. The sights are much nicer than the old Browning stamped beer can adjustable sights. The Girsan rear sight is fully adjustable and the front fiber optic sight is very visible and great for my old eyes. The straight trigger has a much nicer feel that the old curved trigger, the pull was very decent at around 4.5 pounds, after take up there is no creep. If you are not familiar with this model it DOES NOT HAVE THE MAGAZINE SAFETY. The pistol functioned fine with the supplied magazine and a number of different magazines that I have. I put around 200 round through it on the initial firing and had ZERO MALFUNCTIONS. Accuracy was decent and only had to minimally adjust the sight to be dead on.

One thing I noted that I had not seen mentioned was that the ROWEL hammer is quite a bit smaller than the old Browning or Inglis hammers, I assume this was done to work in conjunction with the extended bearvertail, which feels great and makes hammer bite impossible.

The machining on my pistol was very well done, the finish was very evenly applied and I did not notice any imperfections. The G10 grips seemed a little thick at the backstrap but were fitted very well. The small finger rest at the base of the grip feels OK but it makes stripped a magazine very difficult if you have a hang up.

For the money I would recommend this pistol,
