Description

44 Magnum, 8 3/8'' barrel with an excellent bore. This nice four-screw revolver was made in 1960-61 and remains in excellent condition. The metal surfaces retain about 97% original blue with high edge wear, heaviest at the muzzle, plus a turn ring on the recessed cylinder and a few fine scratches. The .500'' target trigger and .500'' target hammer retain beautiful case-hardened colors with light operational wear. The un-numbered grips are a nice set of diamond checkered factory walnut ''coke bottle'' target grips that rate very good to excellent showing a small chip on the heel of the left panel and minor handling marks. The revolver features a red ramp front sight, white outline factory micro adjustable rear sight and except for the un-numbered barrel and crane the other appropriate parts are numbered to the gun and no rework marks are found. Included with this lovely revolver is a mahogany presentation case with French fit flock lined foam interior that shows lightly worn areas of flocking. The exterior of the case rates near excellent overall with light handling marks. Also included are a factory screwdriver, bore mop, bore brush and cleaning rod. Collectors, shooters and hunters will surely be ''eyeing'' this beauty.
