Description
This Colt Third Generation Single Action Army revolver is a fine example of late 20th-century Custom Shop craftsmanship. Chambered in .44-40 WCF, it features a 4¾-inch round barrel, a blue and casehardened finish, and the black powder-style frame with the traditional three-line patent marking. Manufactured in 1993, it is paired with one-piece-style smooth grips and a grip frame numbered SA95663—originally from 1986—documented by the matching Colt Custom Shop label on the box.
The revolver remains in exceptional condition, showing over 99% of its original finish with only faint handling marks and a light cylinder ring. The grips show minimal wear, and the action is mechanically excellent. It comes complete with its original Colt box and shipping sleeve, making it a collector-grade firearm and an outstanding addition to any Colt enthusiast’s lineup.
