Colt Diamondback 38 Special 4" 1977 Snake Series Revolver Blued Wood Grips

This Colt Diamondback is in excellent, used condition. This model has a 4" barrel chambered in 38 Special, deep blued finish, Colt medallion target grips, ramp front sight, target rear sight, and holds six shots in the cylinder. Based on the serial number, we believe that this revolver was manufactured in 1977. The markings appear very clean and the condition of the finish is fantastic. This example appears to have been handled very little given the condition as seen in the listing photos. The only things to comment on are a few very faint small marks on the frame when searching for anything and very faint cylinder turn lines from rotation of the cylinder. The markings on the left side of the barrel read " DIAMONDBACK .38 Special CTG." and on the right side read " COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD. CONN. U.S.A.". This is an excellent example of a Colt Diamonback chambered in 38 Special manufactured in the late 1970's.
