Smith & Wesson Model 640 J-Frame 38 Special Stainless 1990 S&W 5 Shot

This Smith & Wesson Model 640 J-Frame Revolver is in good, used condition. This particular model has a 1.88" barrel chambered in 38 Special, holds 5 shots in the cylinder, has an enclosed hammer, ramped serrated front sight, wood grips, and a nice stainless finish. There is some light wear visible on the left and right side of the frame, and some small marks in the metal visibible on one part of the cylinder visible in the listing photos. Based on the serial number, we believe that this firearm was manufactured in 1990. Overall function is excellent and this would make a great option for a concealed carry revolver from S&W.
