Description
This Colt Single Action Army Buntline was produced for Colt’s 150th Anniversary and is one of only 490 special examples made in 1986. Chambered in .45 Colt, it features a long 10" Buntline barrel, full Colt blue finish, fluted cylinder, and smooth one-piece walnut grips with gold Colt anniversary medallions.
The barrel and cylinder are engraved in a 19th-century bank note scroll style with punch-dot backgrounds, giving the revolver a refined presentation without losing the classic Colt SAA profile. The back strap carries the 150-year Colt gold-filled logo with scrollwork, and the top of the barrel is stamped with the 150th Anniversary legend.
This example comes with its special wood display case and paperwork. Condition is excellent, with no signs of having been fired since leaving the factory and a bright bore. For the Colt collector, this is a sharp commemorative Buntline with limited production, strong presentation value, and classic Colt styling.
