Type 99 Arisaka with Intact Chrysanthemum - Excellent Condition!

Type 99 Arisaka short rifle. Produced by Toyo Kogyo (who would later be known as Mazda - yes, that Mazda!) as part of the 33rd series. Rifle has a good set of the "mid-war" features, including the higher quality wood of early rifles, metal buttplate, and adjustable aperture rear sight without anti-aircraft wings. The chrysanthemum is fully intact and shows no signs of damage. All metal surfaces are excellent and retain original finish. Wood has a few small service dings but no major gouges, dents, or scratches. Mechanical funciton is excellent. Bore is stong and clean.
