New Beretta APX Carry A1 FDE

I have really enjoyed adding this little 9mm to my collection. It got into my EDC rotation from the start and has worked its' way into the #1 position on my EDC list. It is lightweight, yet sturdy, reliable, accurate, and easily concealed. I would love to see 10 or 12 round factory mags without adding length to the grip. However, 8+1 can do the trick. It is fun to shoot and for some reason, I have always loved the flat dark earth color. It is a gun you can carry all day on a hip and never know it is there. Easy field strip, and easily re-assembled. Thank you Gunprime for very fast shipping. I think my FFL got it in just 2 days and I got it on the 3rd from the date of the order. The $50 Beretta rebate was a nice throw in. I cannot even remember a time I bought a used Beretta, let alone a brand new in the box Beretta for < $220 (after the rebate), In fact, I wonder if anyone has ever bought a brand new Beretta for just a hair over $200 in the past 25-30 years. Very happy with the purchase!

Very happy with the transaction with Gunprime

I must say that after shooting it, I am seriously considering replacing my Glock 43 with it. It seems to handle recoil better, likely due to the more aggressive grip texture on the APx carry. The trigger feels a little different, a little heavier, but not terribly so. Also, the ability to add an optic was the biggest plus. I have already ordered the optic plate, which comes free from Beretta after warranty registration. I probably wouldn’t have bought it if not for the rebate from Beretta and Gunprime’s price of 299, which essentially made it a $200 gun. How can you lose? After shooting it, I can honestly say it is still worth paying the regular price without rebate. I will definitely recommend it to friends.

Gunprime was on point Beretta not so much

This gun was a an afterthought to make it relevant to the current market. Shit red dot plate system. After figuring that out, works well. The manual doesn't go into detail on a complete strip which it should. I like it, I plan on replacing my current "truck gun with this". I would mount an optic with a top mount battery because the plate system is a pain. There is a hole thru the slide where the striker blocker spring can come thru ( I don't know why) then you have to sandwich the plate + optic down to the slide without kinking the spring. My first attempts the spring wasn't correct because my striker blocker wouldn't fully depress and it was resulting in light primer strikes. I like the gun, not the retrofitted design. But then you get it working it's good.
