magazine capacity,QC

Both full and compact version advertise 17 round capacity. My full size: Mag 1 holds 15 at best and very tight with loader, mag 2 holds 16 at best. No change in capacity with preloading to the max capacity and storing. Magazines should accept full capacity on day one. Neither mag drops free but can be removed easily by hand. Mag stamped with a Circle and "T" inside the circle, no other markings, I presume Tangfolio. No response from Bul Armory on line contact form

Bul Armory Cherokee

I like the feel of the gun. Easily hit the target right out of the box.

Love the Bul and Gunprime!

Well-made pistol, it made it here in record time and the customer service and price at Gunprime were great. Cannot ask for a better transaction! Anyone who`s looking to buy a firearm without any hassles, give these guys a shout. You won`t be disappointed : )

Entry level SA/DA

I’ll start with the negatives. 17 round magazines are 17-ish rounds. One I get 17 in with a loader but the other is. 15 round magazine at best. First rounds through the gun both magazines had rounds that did a nosedive but that only happened once with each. As far as the gun the rear sight was off so at 15’ I was shooting 2” to the right. I didn’t have a torx bit small enough with me so I adjusted POA but the group was nice. At 40’ and a hot barrel the group really opened up.
For the price I would recommend this for someone looking for a SA/DA. Shoots well and functions as it should. I put grip tape on because the stippling is pretty aggressive. I’m sure after I shoot it some more it will be good. I would prefer better sights or the ability to add a dot but again for the price point I can’t complain. I added a TLR1-HL and I’m running it out of an Omnivore holster so no complaints about holster compatibility. In DA/ the trigger took some training. I can’t bury my finger in the trigger like I do my small Glocks. When I bury past the trigger finger pad getting the trigger the final bit to drop the hammer is difficult but when using the pad it is a pretty clean pull. I can’t confirm the pull weight but after some rapid dry fire my finger definitely feels fatigued.
For the price I don’t have any buyer’s remorse or feel like I should have gone in a different direction.

Humdinger

I have not yet been to the range, but I am impressed with the feel, fit and finish. I have read that it is very accurate and I feel that I won’t be disappointed.
I’ve done trigger jobs on a P09 and a P01, and the Bul is like the CZs, but not quite. I am not a gunsmith, but it looks like they simplified the trigger and hammer into two modules connected with twin action bars. It does not disassemble like a CZ, but has two pins holding the two modules in place. The slide has one vertical pin holding the striker assembly in place. This is a gen 1 or 2.
For the price and what you get, it is a steal.

I think that Bul is a great beginners pistol. I would consider purchising acouple more if it had a better trigger.

Awesome buying experience!

Awesome price handgun. Local big box store wants double for the same exact pistol. For the price can’t beat it.
