Description
The Canik SFX Rival delivers excellent performance and accuracy in a durable and reliable handgun design. It comes chambered in 9mm with a 5 inch barrel. Features include a fiber optic front sight, an adjustable rear sight, an optics ready slide, and two 18 round magazines.
SFX RIVAL FEATURES
The Canik SFx Rival has a total length of 8.1", a height of 5.7", a 1.41" width, a 5" barrel, and an overall weight of 29.5 oz. With these specifications the Canik SFx Rival can compete in IDPA, IPSC, and USPSA without restrictions. The Canik Rival is available in Canik Rival Grey with Cerakoted gold accents and in an all-black configuration called the Canik SFx Rival Dark Side. With adjustable fiber optic sights, a lightened 90 degree diamond cut aluminum flat trigger, reversible magazine releases and sizes, ambidextrous slide release, aggressively serrated and ported slide, 1913 Picatinny rail, external mag-well, 3 grip back strap sizes, double undercut trigger guard, ergonomically redesigned beavertail, aggressive grip texturing, and a completely modular setup, the SFx Rival is ready to win right out of the box!

I shoot USPSA with the Rival S, so having the same firearm in the polymer version is a no brainer. I now have a back up firearm with extra interchangeable parts if or when either may need repairs. The Canik Rival series offers the best bang for the buck, pun intended! Seriously though, for the price and the quality, I would say it literally has the best value for the platform! Gunprime was by far the lowest price after I scoured the internet.
The whole package is better than I had researched!.
Balance, ease of use, slide is smooth and the trigger is competitive out of the box. I have had this pistol a few weeks and cannot fault the shooting ability and made me feel a better shooter!

Not only is the rival very attractive with its slide serrations and cutouts. Not only is it full featured with multiple optics plates, chamber indicator and hammer indicator. Not only does it comes with everything you need out of the box with tools, backstraps, mag release buttons, extra magazine, and a holster. But it also has the best trigger out of the box for any striker fired handgun on the market. Mine metered at 4.1 lbs, but its all about how predictable and quick the trigger is. The takeup is 2lbs from 45 degrees to 80 degrees and then a 2lb wall from 80 to 90 degrees. The over travel is 90 to 100 degrees and the reset is at 80 degrees. Get your hands on one. 10/10
I’ve been hearing the hype on these pistols for some time and wanted to see for myself. Everything I’ve heard is true! This is an excellent pistol. Light! Comfortable in hand! The trigger is great!
