This is an awesome pistol. I just love it. So much so that I ordered the Elite SC as my new carry gun. Canik TP9 are glock killers. Amazing trigger, great fit and finish, and just plan fun to shoot. I put a Vortex Viper on it. This was first go with a red dot on a pistol. There is a learning curve but if you put some time in both at the range and at home practicing acquiring the sight picture it becomes easier and easier. I have about 1000rds and the gun has run flawless. I have never shot competition so I can speak to that aspect of the gun but I did take both my 70 year old mom and my girlfriend (both very inexperienced shooter) and they perfect the SFX or my full size M&P and Glock 19. The bottom line is this just plain fun pistol. Plus it comes with more goodies than anyone could expect. The holster isn’t great but it works and it comes with the pistol so who could complain
I love it, was looking at it for along time , and finally got it.
Only had one range day so far. After years of Glocks and XD’s was not prepared for the trigger and accuracy out of the box. I have a specialty Glock with trigger and barrel improvement. Doesn’t shoot this good.
Will be looking at other Caniks now.
Great, super fast service from Gunprime.
I shot my new Canik at an outdoor range near my home that I had never been to before. I liked the accuracy and smooth operation of the trigger. My buddy and I shot at targets 21 feet away and were able to keep a pretty tight grouping on our shots. There was one jam I experienced but it was definitely due to the low-cost ammo my friend brought for us to shoot with. I’ll need a few more times at the range to get a really good take on it, but I’d rate it a 4 star out of 5 at this point!
I have a threaded barrel version and it shoots great and has a nice trigger action. It did need a repair to a small spring that had to be sent back to the dealer after a couple of hundred rounds. The elevated sights are great for suppressed shooting. I recommend it for anyone interested in a full size 9mm with a high magazine capacity. Just beware that no mechanical system is flawless. I also own a full size Walther 9mm. The Walther has a slightly smoother trigger action, but when it comes to cost and value, the Canik 9mm's are a great buy.
Really nice pistol, everybody at the range recognized it and said it was an awesome pistol, shot good and it never malfunction, shot 300 rounds through it that day. Gunprime was awesome to deal with will definitely do business again once I find another gun that I like.
I absolutely love this gun it came in about four days came with a tracking number everything was very professional and been in love ever since I was a little skeptical about buying a gun online because it was my first time ever doing so but it was cheaper than the in-store prices and the company was amazing any questions I asked I just had to emailed them
Shipping super fast, great price and the pistol???
Head to head with Glocks, but cheaper.
Love my Canik
