The EDC Med trauma kit from Emergent Rescue Systems was developed specifically for the concealed carrier and fits easily into any small pocket. It’s compact, low profile  design allows the user to carry critical medical supplies discreetly, without adding bulk.

We selected the internal contents based on injury pattern data from over 100 United States active shooter events and lessons learned in tactical combat casualty care. Kit components address leading causes of preventable death in penetrating limb/torso penetrating trauma:
- Severe uncontrolled  bleeding
- Open pneumothorax (sucking chest wound)
