I’ve been running the Kimber 2K11 Comp and it’s been my absolute favorite to shoot and own. The 5" barrel and comp keep the gun flat and fast; the recoil almost non-existent, follow up shots are ridiculously easy. It just wants to run.
The trigger is clean with a glass break reset, and the grip is fantastic, giving you a lot of control when pushing the pace. Never had my split times measured, and my fastest were 1.15.
It’s definitely not a carry gun, unless you really want to; it’s heavy and built for the range or competition, but that’s exactly where it shines. It takes a little more maintenance just like every 2011, but that's more like meditation than anything else.
Solid, reliable, flat-shooting, and just plain fun. If you like shooting fast and hard, this is it, get one!
