I got this for home protection. My brother recently moved near me and I sent his guns home with him. I went with Mossberg again with this purchase. I am over 70 and can't handle the larger weapons any longer and My health will not allow me to hunt any longer. Everything about this 410 is perfect for me. The weight and size are great. We went out for me to give it a workout and it was wonderful. I can't say enough good things about it. I would recommend this gun for anyone who has limitations and I also think it would be good for a young person just starting out.
I've bought this item in 12ga, 20ga, and now .410.
Great for home self defense. I hope other companies will come out with barrels with chokes. 18” to 22” barrel would be another good upgrade
