I haven’t put too many rounds through it, but it cycles very smoothly with no hitches. It’s my first lever action, probably not my last. Ordering was easy with quick shipping and plenty of updates.
I wanted a lightweight 357 mag carbine, and this is it. After hearing mixed reviews I decided to treat this rifle as a project. Most reported very rough edges and bad QC to the point of even causing malfunctions. Not in this new production. After 2 range trips I am happy to report no problems running both 357's and 38's. There was a small hang up with the loading gate, easily fixed with a file for a couple minutes. Nothing compared to the issues of earlier production guns.
Also, I ordered on a Friday and it shipped the following Tuesday. Couldn't be happier with Gunprime
