I bought my STG 77 a year ago during the first round of production. They made half last year and are making the other half now. It was my 2nd AUG to shoot. The donut sight (that is what I heard someone call the retical in side the optic or scope) was weird at first but after a little shooting I really like it. You put you target inside the circle and pull the trigger. You can be really precise.
The gun handles great. The Bullpup design is so cool. You don't have a heavy front end. It is compact and the weight is centered. It was really accurate. The trigger isn't super crisp but I hear that is normal for bullpups. Pretty easy to disassemble and clean.
What is an AUG? That was might first question when someone was telling me about the Steyr AUG. Have you ever seen the movie Die Hard? It is the green gun the bad guy uses...
